Still to be confirmed – this Monday we very much hope to welcome a speaker from hearing dogs for the deaf and learn all about the wonderful work these people and dogs do.

Eyes down, laughter ready, as we play a game of bingo with Julie and Lynn, and our new bingo drum!

Monday February 17th 2025
Get ready to tap to the beat as you join us and Druns4fun in this upbeat drumming session. Drumming helps to light up the brain, produces a feel good factor, and creates lots of fun and laughter. Just the kind of activity we all need, love, and enjoy.

Today we welcome Leigh-Anne from Cornwall Fire and Rescue Services, she is here to talk to us about facilities to help with mobility, vision or hearing as well as checking you have working fire alarms etc.

We welcome back Lisa and delight in her beautiful singing. Get ready to join in, tap or beat along to the music or join us on the dance floor.

Time to get moving; join Julie in some gentle chair exercise and stretching. Stretch bands and bean bags! Or a little chair ballet? Join us and find out.

Monday March 17th 2025
Still to be confirmed – Today we have a meet and chatter activity with some of the children from Threemilestone school, we plan to chat with them, share a simple art activity with them, bring our tea break forward and offer them a drink and a snack.

Please welcome Isobel from Helston Museum who is going to share with us objects and memories from our own childhoods.

Monday April 7th 2025
A fun and games afternoon where we remember, share and play some of the old table games from our younger days. Jog those memories, remember those skills, role a dice, move a counter around a board, get excited when you have the matching or missing card. Plus lots more!

After our break we welcome Suzannah from The Cornwall Memory Cafe Network. She is here to tell us all about the work she does and present us with our membership certificate.

This is so exciting – today for your entertainment we are starting our session early with a lunch time main meal and dessert and then settling back to watch a theatre show.

Chit Chat – Today we are offering you an extra session to come along, have a good natter with your friends (old and new), share some of your ideas, life, and thoughts with others, have a really good laugh, drink lots of tea and coffee, eat plenty of biscuits, and go home with your brains lit up and your hearts feeling warm and loved. You are important, and we all care about you.
Today we are going to end with a couple of simple flower arrangement demonstrations by Lynn and a raffle to win these masterpieces!
